My name is Lauren Brown and I have lived in New Zealand since I was five years old.
I have recently completed my Masters of Teaching and Learning in primary degree and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Education and Sociology at Victoria University of Wellington.
Teaching has been a passion of mine since a very young age and I can vividly remember being asked, “what would you like to do when you’re older?” I replied, “I want to be a teacher.” From that day onwards it has been something I have endeavored to achieve.
Some of you may have seen me around in 2023 as a student teacher at Amesbury. I am looking forward to returning and finally accomplishing my dream as a teacher.
Some of my other hobbies include dancing and spending time with my friends and family.
I am very much looking forward to connecting and working with your tamariki.
