My name is Charlene and I am very excited to be joining Amesbury in the Koru Hub as a Release Teacher.
I moved to New Zealand in 2022 with my husband and our 2 teenage daughters from Johannesburg, South Africa.
I have been teaching since 2003 and previously taught at an ECE in Hataitai. I enjoy the primary school setting and my passion is creating unique and fun filled activities for visual arts, numeracy and literacy.
In my spare time I enjoy going for walks, traveling and doing pilates.
I am looking forward to connecting with students and their whānau, as well as teachers as my career takes a new path this year.
