Kia ora Koutou
I am excited to be joining the Amesbury team in 2024. I am really looking forward to meeting your tamariki and learning about ‘what makes them tick’.
Most of my career has been with The Co-operative Bank, mostly in policy and technical implementation roles as well as communications. I always had a desire to teach though so, in 2021, I completed a Graduate Diploma of Primary Teaching.
I began my teaching career at Maidstone Intermediate in Upper Hutt. I have loved teaching Intermediate age children. But I’m keen to expand my skills by teaching in a collaborative primary setting.
My background has meant that I am interested in Financial Literacy but I also enjoy incorporating local history and lots of social sciences into my teaching program.
When not teaching I enjoy traveling and beach hopping with my wife and two children.
