Kia ora,
I’m Amelia and I’m excited to be starting my teaching journey at Amesbury School in 2024.
I am from sunny Nelson where I lived with my parents, two younger sisters and cat. In 2020 I moved to Dunedin to start my Bachelor of Arts double majoring in Psychology and History, which I graduated from in 2022. I really enjoyed learning about the child development side of psychology so after finishing my BA I decided to study my graduate diploma of teaching and learning through the University of Canterbury to pursue teaching as a career.
I am super excited for the move to Wellington and to discover all the opportunities this new city will have for me.
When I am not in the classroom I enjoy baking and cooking, reading, spending time with my friends, travelling and watching sports.
