My name is Poornima Ranchhod and I am a Churton Park Resident. I have two amazing boys with my husband, Prashant. My eldest son, Ishaan, is an Amesbury school leaver, and Anish, my younger son, is in year 2. I moved to Aotearoa from the UK over 14 years ago. I work as a Child-Centred Play Therapist and promote the well-being of tamariki and their whānau experiencing difficulties or life challenges. I work in schools and colleges and have experience in developing and delivering services.
I am excited to be a co-opted member of the Amesbury School Board of Trustees. I am passionate about supporting the school and our diverse community. My vision is to work alongside Amesbury School to continue to develop and provide an inclusive environment where our tamariki grow, be creative and enjoy learning.
