Kris Love
Kris Love -
Co-opted
Tēnā koutou katoa,
My name is Kris Love (Te Atihaunui-a-pāpārangi, Ngāti Rangi and Uenuku), I'm 1 of 2 Co-opt members of the Amesbury School Board of Trustees.
It is an honour and a privilege to have been asked to sit on the board.
As a parent of four tamariki who have all been educated at Amesbury School, 2 of which are current students, I have had an 11 year association with the school; dating back to the second year of the school opening. It is a great opportunity to give back to this community.
I have a military background, working in the NZ Army for 17 years. For the past 10 years I have been working for a High Commission here in Wellington.
In my spare time, I am either with my whānau or supporting my kids on the sideline of a rugby field. I also coach rugby and have been part of the NZ Māori U18 team for the past 2 years. I currently sit on 3 rugby boards.
I’m passionate about supporting our whānau/friends and school to work together to build a community that is safe, tolerant, accepting and resilient.
Ma te kotahitanga e whai kaha ai tātau.
In unity, we have strength.
