Nominations are open for the election of three parent representatives to the school board. All eligible voters will receive a nomination form which is attached to this article. Use this form to nominate yourself or someone in your community. A nomination cover letter calling for nominations and information on who is not eligible to be a board member is also provided. Printed copies of the nomination form are available at the school office, should you require this.
Nominations close at noon on Thursday 29th September, 2022. You may provide a signed candidate statement and photograph with your nomination (also to be submitted to the Returning Officer no later than noon on 29th September).
The electoral roll is held at the school and can be viewed during normal school hours - if you wish to check if your name is on the electoral roll, please contact the school office (04-477 3423).
As nominations are received, there will be a list of candidates’ names kept at the school up until election day, which you can view.
If more nominations are received than the number of places vacant, a vote will be held. Voting papers will be sent to all eligible voters. Voting will close at 4pm on Thursday 3rd November, 2022.
