What's on this Week?
Years 0-2 Junior Athletics Carnival - Tuesday (1 November)
We have this year's Y0-2 Athletics Carnival commencing at 9.30am this Tuesday (1 November). This is for all Y0-2 tamariki including those based in Harakeke.
Amaria has written a short article covering the admin side of the day, so if your tamariki are involved please have a look so that you know the when and what to bring information.
If we have to postpone the event, we will notify all whānau by HERO, and the day will be rescheduled for Thursday this week (3 November).
The carnival will be held at school so come along and support our younger tamariki as they put their all into a variety of events.
Co-curricular Lessons Open Days - Wednesday & Friday (2 & 4 November)
After such a long absence, we are finally able to hold our Co-curricular Open Days this Wednesday and Friday.
This is an opportunity for whānau to come along to see their tamariki participate in their co-curricular lessons. Each lesson will be a mini performance for the audience and an opportunity to see a typical lesson in action.
In order that the lessons are not disrupted by comings and goings, please arrive 10 minutes before the lesson is due to commence, sign in at the office, and when the bell goes please move to where your tamariki are having their lesson. Please don't forget to sign out before you leave.
A reminder that our Years 4-6 Speech & Drama will not be held this week. It will be on Friday 18 November.
Whānau have all been advised when their child/ren have their lessons. If you are unsure or have any questions, please contact John (communications@amesbury.school.nz).

Students who are currently enrolled at Newlands Intermediate for 2023 are going to be heading to the school for a visit on Friday 11th November.
