What's on this week?

School finishes for the term at 3pm on Wednesday - 13 April.
The reason for a midweek finish is due to the Teacher Only day the following day (Thursday 14 April) and Easter Friday (15 April).
During the Staff Only Day (Thursday 14th April) school will be closed for instruction, and teachers will be completing professional development work.
Our first day for Term 2 will be Monday 2 May.

School Day Start Time
Over the past couple of weeks we have noticed some students arriving very early for school, with some students arriving onsite a little after 8am.
Just as a reminder, our hubs open from 8:30am. We ask that ākonga do not arrive before 8:30am, as it means they are standing outside in the cold weather and are unsupervised. We have staff supervision out in the car park area from 8:30am, and road patrol supervision on the Amesbury Drive crossing from 8:40am.
If tamariki need to be at school before 8:30am, please book them into our Before School Care programme with Kelly Club.
Whole School Cross Country
Our whole school cross country event will be held in the first week of Term 2, (Thursday 5 May). The event will begin just after 11am (after morning tea) and will run until approximately 12:50pm (lunchtime).

Last Friday's Fundraiser for People in Ukraine
Thanks to everyone who got involved with our dress up day fundraiser for the Red Cross support in Ukraine.
So far we have raised $707 for Red Cross, which is great. If you would like to add to this total, it would be wonderful if we could make it to $1,000 for such a worthwhile cause. We are still accepting donations via Kindo . Just click on the "Fundraising" option, then choose how much you would like to donate.
