Kia ora whanau,
This is a reminder about our school production that is coming up at the end of Term 2.
‘The Growth of Agent C’ is an Amesbury original production, written and produced by the students of Amesbury School. It is a dramatization of the growth and changes that a person goes through as they move through our school and beyond.
The production will be held over two days in the last week of school this term: Tuesday the 4th of July and Wednesday the 5th of July; the show start at 5:30 pm on both evenings and runs for approximately one hour. On the Tuesday there is a matinee performance at 1:30 pm.
Tickets are $10 per family group (up to 4 people) or $5 for single tickets. They can be purchased online following this link. For people who have already ordered tickets, we will order a family (group) ticket for you if you have fewer than 4 people in your group, or a single ticket if you have only made one booking.
All students across the school are involved in this show; having all students involved on the evenings of the show is a priority for us, so it is important that if your child may not be available on the night/s of the performances you let their whanau teacher know so that we can assign them roles that can be taken up by other students.
Costume request
Costuming for the production will be created at school. However, we ask that you supply your child/children with a plain black t-shirt or long sleeved top that they can wear as part of their stage clothes, and black pants, shorts or skirt (part of their school uniform). Some of these t-shirts will be painted as part of their costume, so please send a top you are happy to have painted. Please send your child's black top into school by the end of next week ( Friday the 23rd of June). They can be handed in to whanau teachers in a named bag or with a named label on them. Thanks for your help with this.
Any questions regarding our performance can be directed to our production team: Derek (derek@amesbury.school.nz), JeeWon (jee@amesbury.school.nz) or Mike (michael@amesbury.school.nz).
Kind regards,
Amesbury staff.
