Easter Raffle - Fundraising for Camp

By: John Murrihy | Posted Thursday April 7, 2022

In Term 4 our year 5 & 6 students will be heading to El Rancho for our end of year camp. Given the substantial cost that is involved when organising a school camp, we will be fundraising at different times throughout the year. We currently have a fundraising goal of $5000. We will update the community with our progress towards this goal following each of our fundraising events.

This term, we will be holding an Easter raffle. This raffle will be largely the same as the raffle that we held this time last year. We are asking that all Year 5 & 6 whānau donate a new and unused Easter item that can be included in our prize packs. Some examples of things that could be donated include Easter eggs, Easter craft items, small packaged toys and new books. Please do not donate any used toys as we are unable to include these in our prize packs due to Covid safety. We will have a donation box in the office where students can place their donated items. We will then arrange the prize packs ready for the prize draw. We are welcoming donations anytime until Monday 11th April.

Tickets are available for purchase:

  • on the school Kindo shop
  • $2 each
  • Ticket sales close @ 8am Wednesday 13 April
  • Winning tickets will be drawn on Wednesday 13th April.

The 10 winners of the raffle will receive a gift basket containing a range of items donated by our students.

We encourage all of our Amesbury Whānau to purchase raffle tickets as the raffle prizes are not exclusively for Pōhutukawa Whānau.
