What's on this week?
The Amesbury Hoodie
Samples are now on display at the office, so bring your tamariki in (or yourself, cos there's sizes for all) from 8.30 until 3.30pm to try sizes on before you buy because the hoodies are a different fit to the fleece, and exchanges will not be available for the wrong size ordered.
The Amesbury School hoodie will be priced at $63 from the 6th July, but for now we're offering a Term 2 Introductory Price of $60. Orders must be submitted via Kindo (no cash payment system is available).
Read all about it here.

Junior Tough Guy and Gal Challenge
Earlier in the week, over 20 of our tamariki braved the weather and the course to compete in the Junior Tough Guy & Gal Challenge at Camp Wainui. Despite the conditions - or was it in spite of the conditions - they had an awesome day.
Judging by all of the photos everyone still had a big smile on their faces when they were finished.
The enjoyment of the day was helped by the wonderful support of the whānau, who were also in attendance, by guiding them through the post event warm showers and getting changes, as well as providing warm food and drink.
To see what happened, including photos, please see Jenny's report on the event.
Share and Celebrate Week 4
Our latest Share & Celebrate for the term was held on Friday, and what a huge number received recognition especially with those involved in the Northern Zone Cross Country, the Junior Tough Guy & Gal Challenge, and the two Regional Chess Tournaments.
To see who and what they did to deserve celebrating please read this article.
Playhouse Theatre - The Reluctant Dragon
Earlier in the week we had a visit from the Playhouse Theatre who put on a performance of The Reluctant Dragon.
It was a performance enjoyed by the whole school. Read all about The Reluctant Dragon here.

We are going to make our own juggling balls, bake clown hats, experiments with elephant toothpaste, and so much more.
