Term Dates
Our school events calendar has been updated with all known events for the current term. You can see it here.
Gumboots, slippers and spare clothing
As we kick in to the Autumn and Winter seasons, please feel free to send gumboots and slippers to school. We also encourage you to put a plastic bag with spare clothing in the bottom of your child's bag (especially for those who's children love to play outside at lunch!) We have a very limited supply of black bottoms, so we encourage you to pack spares.
Co-curricular Lessons
Our co-curricular lessons commence in the 2nd week of Term 2 (Wednesday 8 May) and a number of the classes are filling fast.
If you've been thinking about an opportunity for your child(ren) to learn to play an instrument, do gymnastics or develop their communication or speech and drama skills read this article and contact John at communications@amesbury.school.nz

For Term 2 the following activities will be open to all students:
Lunch Orders
Before the kids tuck into their lunchtime activities perhaps they'd like to tuck into some kai.

The construction elective group would appreciate some resources for our projects this term.
We need small boxes/ clean plastic bottles/ egg boxes/ lunch wrap tubes (not toilet rolls) and unwanted craft materials (e.g. feathers, stickers, buttons). Any donations will be gladly received.
Please see Gemma in Te Rito Hub if you have any of these resources. Thanks!
Head Lice
We were notified during the holidays of another case of a student with head lice. If you have any concerns or believe that your child(ren) may have head lice please read the attached article.
