Amesbury Speech Competition

After making some tough choices two weeks ago in the heats as to who would be in the finals, it was left to our guest judges, Peggy & Gemma, to decide from the 12 finalists who would be the winner of the 2020 Amesbury Speech Competition.

In the end the judges were unanimous that the most deserved winner was Kyla. In second was Surya and third was Shenaya.

Congratulations in particular to those three placegetters. But also congratulations to the rest of the finalists and a huge thank you to all of the participants in the competition. Not everyone can win but everyone can give of their best and learn from their experiences.

A special thanks to Peggy & Gemma for coming along and judging the finals, as well as the parents who came to support the kids who participated - it means a lot.

For those who missed seeing the Finals, you have an opportunity to hear the 3 winners present their speeches at the Learning Celebration this Thursday (1.45pm 26 November).
