Mid-year reports will be live on ALF in Week 1 of Term 3.

The timing of reports this year is slightly different from previous years. In the past, reports have been sent out in the final week of term 2. However, this year, teachers will be moderating the reports in teams during the holiday, and they will then be 'live' (viewable) on ALF at the end of the first week of Term 3. We will send an alert out to tell you when the reports are available.

Most children will have a mid year report for 2019 on ALF at the start of term 3. A small number of students who started at Amesbury School part way through term 2 will have an interim report, which is a briefer report, as we are still assessing and getting to know your child.

Here is the link to ALF. The link to ALF is also available on our Tizmos page. Your child/ren can sign in to ALF using their school gmail account; they will know their login and password details. If you have any difficulties accessing ALF, please do not hesitate to contact your child's whanau teacher.

The most recent report for each student will be at the top of the list of reports. Our ALF reports are also downloadable: in the 'Report' section of ALF you will see all of your child's reports listed. On the right hand side there is a download button (downward facing arrow) - if you click on this, a PDF version of your child's report will be downloaded to your device.

There are several information boxes which will help you to get the most out of your report. Please do take the time to read these carefully.

You can access the report through your child's password. However, it would be better to access ALF through your own Gmail account. This means you can access it at any time. Here is a link to a page on the website which tells you how to do this. If you do not have a Gmail account you may need to set one up.

If you have any difficulties accessing your child's report, please do not hesitate to contact your child's whanau teacher as soon as possible. Your child's report is a valuable source of information about their progress and development, and it is important that you and your child can access and read it.

Warm regards,

The Amesbury team
