Fundraising for Year 5 + 6 Camp

Parents of year 5 and 6 students will be contacted directly with fundraising opportunities towards camp subsidies. These include food preparation/donation for the Cluster Principals Professional Development Seminar on Tuesday 7 November and a sausage sizzle at Bunnings on Saturday 18 November.

Makerspace: Request for resources

Derek is creating a makerspace in Koru Hub and needs resources, specifically: bottle tops -plastic, tin- whatever/ small cardboard boxes (cracker boxes cereal boxes etc / tin cans (washed- no jagged edges)/ wire/ corrugated cardboard sheets/ clean plastic bottles. Please take any such resources you may have to Derek.

School Powhiri

Our Term Four School Powhiri is on Monday 30th October at 2.30pm. All parents can to attend to help welcome our new students and whanau.

Churton Park Craft Market

Friday 10 November 5pm-8pm here at AMESBURY SCHOOL – start your Christmas shopping with quality locally produced gifts for sale, loads of entertainment, sausage sizzle, cake stall, café, coffee truck, KIDS market. Bring the whole family as there will be kids activities too. More information.

Support Amesbury School’s sausage sizzle! We will be sizzling sausages to fundraise for our bike track. There will be hour slots available between 4.30 - 7.30pm. If you are able to donate an hour of your time, please complete the form here, we'd really appreciate it!

Term 4 Community Evening - Mark the Date

Wednesday 15th November 5.30pm. Come along to celebrate the diversity of our school. Delicious Asian finger food, exciting performances, and workshops to examine the importance of bi-culturalism, Te Reo Maori and Asia Awareness, plus fun activities for the kids!

Chinese Immigrant Parenting Research

关于华人移民的育儿经验的一项研究

奥克兰大学的研究生Yun Wei做一项关于华人移民的育儿经验的研究,请有五到十二岁参加这项研究。Yun Wei of the University of Auckland's Parenting Research Group is conducting research into parenting experiences of Chinese immigrant parents, and invites Chinese immigrant parents with children aged 5 - 12. Cans for Good

A reminder that the deadline for bringing cans for the Salvation Army collection is Monday 30 October. We are collecting cans at Reception.
