Ursula Cunningham

Ursula Cunningham - Principal

I have been involved with Amesbury School since construction first began; it’s been an exciting roller coaster of a journey! I am an associate principal at the school, working with staff and students to design and deliver personalised learning programmes meeting the needs of all students across the school.
Prior to working at Amesbury School I taught at another large Wellington primary school for ten years. I also worked in several schools in England, and taught in a village school in Malawi, Africa, for a year. All of these very different teaching experiences have helped me to develop a strong desire to find ways to meet the diverse needs of all of our learners.
When I am not rocking around Amesbury School I can often be found sitting at a bus stop internally celebrating (and yes, more recently despairing over) the form of my home team, Liverpool FC. I also adore travelling and my backpack is always poised and ready to go.
The quickest way to my heart - a good strong cup of Earl Grey.
