Thanks to generous support from Asia New Zealand Foundation, we will be running an exciting evening of Asian food demonstrations for this term's Community Evening. There will be the opportunity to get hands on and learn how to make delicious dishes like sushi and rice paper rolls - perfectly suited to little hands!
Finger food will be served in the Hall from 5.30pm, so come in for a quick bite and a catch up. Then we are lucky to have local Cordon Bleu trained chef, Shalini Devadhar, plus our very own Kyle Yu and Vivian Tse leading the cooking demonstrations.
We have room for one more demonstration table, so if you have a favourite food from your culture that you would like to share, please get in touch with us (funding is available to cover your costs).
We will be topping off the evening with sweet treats baked fresh from Amesbury School's very first cookbook, Joyful Cooking. While nibbling on delectable morsels, we will celebrate the launch of this beautiful book. Books will be available for sale (cash only).
The Scholastic Book Fair will also be on in the library, so remember pop in and check it out.
Looking forward to seeing you there!
