  6. Please ensure that your tamariki are properly in their seat belts before leaving the pick up area

Year 4-6 Swimming Sports - This Tuesday

Our Senior Swimming Sports event is taking place on Tuesday (3rd September) at Tawa Pool with a start time of 10.30am.

All the ākonga have chosen what events they wish to participate in. Please read Rupert's article and send your tamariki along with their swimming gear and some additional nutritious snacks.

If you are able, please come along and support the tamariki in their endeavours.

Touch Rugby - Registrations Close this Friday

If your tamariki are interested in playing touch rugby in Term 4, now is the time to register them. Registrations close at 4pm on Friday 6 September.

Structured Literacy Parent Session

On Monday 9th September commencing at 6pm in the school hall we have Kerri Satherley, from Massey University, facilitating a session for parents on structured literacy.

For the background of structured literacy and also what is planned to be covered in the session please she the Structured Literacy article that Urs has compiled.

Please complete this short RSVP form, so we have an idea of numbers for the session.

Fusion Food Haus

Lunch orders will not be available from Fusion Food Haus this week Wednesday 4th September.

Share and Celebrate Week 6

Our latest Share & Celebrate for the term was held on Friday, and what a huge number received well deserved recognition.

This week we had a few different co-curricular singing classes providing us with an item. They were awesome!.

Kapa Haka Festival

The annual St. Brigid's Kapa Haka Festival will take place on Saturday 14 September and, as always, Amesbury is sending a group who will be performing in the block commencing at 10.45am.

Please come along and support our tamariki, but you are also welcome to stay for the entire day or any other time that you wish.

Kelly Club

This coming week our challenge is to show Amesbury Kelly Club is the best venue in NZ! Join us while we make Shining Stars, Kelly Club Brainstorming, Kelly Club Creation and play games! It will be a week to remember :)

Children’s Hospital Annual Street Appeal – Saturday, 5th October

When a child needs hospital care, it can be one of the most frightening times for any family.  Our Annual Street Appeal is a key fundraiser and helps ensure that tamariki across our region continue to receive the best possible care - when they need it most.

We need Volunteer Collectors across Wellington City, Lower Hutt, Petone, Porirua, and Kapiti.

Love Tennis Day - Free

Churton Park Tennis Club (15 Lakewood Ave)

Bring the whole family and give tennis a go for FREE.
