Welcome back for Term 3. We hope you and your children are refreshed after the break!
Amesbury Awesomeness Winners
Did you see our Amesbury Awesomeness Winners from Term 2? Please see our article here and you'll also see photos from the fantastic musical celebration that we enjoyed at the Learning Celebration.
Swimming Sports
We enjoyed a great afternoon at the Year 4-6 swimming sports at the end of the term. Please see the results here.
Co-curricular lessons began today!
Don't forget co-curricular lessons start this week and run for 8 weeks of the term. Parents have been emailed regarding this.
Inspire Photography
It's time to photograph our students again! Inspire Photography are coming to school in week 3 from 9am on Tuesday, 7th August and Thursday, 9th August. Please see the attached information sheet.
Inspire create beautiful photos and we have had lots of great feedback from parents about them. In the past we have taken hub photographs, as well as sibling and individual shots. As our hubs are continually growing we will be taking year group pictures this year instead of whole hub ones. We are aware that Te Rito Hub will be out of school on Tuesday afternoons this term for swimming and we will ensure they do not miss out on photographs during this time.
Events Calendar
Please remember to check the Events calendar here for the term's upcoming events.
Spare Clothing
During the winter months, we often have a number of children come to us wet and muddy wanting clean clothes after play times. For all students, please pack spare clothing in the bottom of your child's bag in a plastic bag (particularly leggings and trousers/shorts) so they have something familiar that they can get changed in to.
Office & Library Hours
Please remember that the office and library area open from 8.30-3.30pm each day.
Powhiri
Our Term 3 powhiri to welcome new students and staff will be held in Week 3 of the term. In this powhiri, we will welcome students who started in Weeks 3-10 last term and who have started in the first couple of weeks this term. The powhiri will happen on Monday 6 August at 2:30pm in the hall. Everyone is welcome to come along and join in. Families of new students are warmly invited to come along and join in the powhiri as we welcome you all to our school community.
