What's on?

School Camps (EOTC)

I'm sure that the kids haven't forgotten, but it's Camp Week this week.

Please check out the links above and the communications that the teachers have sent out directly, to ensure that you know what's happening where and when and what the kids need to bring along.

If you have any last minute questions please contact your child/ren's whānau teacher.

Scholastic Book Fair at Amesbury

The Scholastic Book Fair is finishing on Tuesday, so if you want to have a look for something come on in during the following times:

  • Monday 28th November 8:30-9:15am or 2:45-3:30pm
  • Tuesday 29th November 8:30-9:15am or 2:45-3:30pm

Amesbury Junior Athletics Carnival - Monday 7 December

The Amesbury Junior Athletics Carnival now has a new date - Monday 7th December, 9.30am-12.30pm.

Originally planned for earlier this month, the Carnival was postponed due to the inclement weather.

Lunch Orders

  • Pizza lunch orders have now finished for the year
  • Last day of Lunch Online (Pita Pit) orders is Friday 4th Dec
  • Last day of Lunch Online (Nada Bakery) orders Wednesday 9th Dec

Please remember when your child/ren will be away from school over lunchtimes, e.g. camp week, Year 6 end of year activities, etc. so that you don't place lunch orders for those dates.

Please Return all Books

A reminder to return all library books as soon as you can so Regina can do her end-of-year thing. Thanks.

Also, please don't forget to return all school readers before the end of the school year.

Gift for Teachers

Last week I emailed all parents/caregivers with a message from one of our parents, Mark Turner, who is co-ordinating a gift for the teachers as a thank you for their dedication to all of the Amesbury Kids.

If you wish to contribute, please refer back to that email for the details. Thanks.

Have your say on improving healthy eating and drinking and quality physical activity for our tamariki by participating in the Healthy Active Learning evaluation

To understand the impact that Healthy Active Learning is having and to improve what we do we would like feedback from as many care givers, teachers and principals as possible.
