Most help topics are covered within the online help screen in Kindo. Click on the question mark located in the top right hand corner of the screen, then use the search function to find the topic you need help with. There is also a “Contact” button at the bottom of the help page that allows you to send a message to the Kindo helpdesk. Alternatively, you can contact the helpdesk by email: kindo helpdesk@tgcl.co.nz, or call 0508 4KINDO.
If you can’t remember if you’ve made a purchase or ordered a lunch through Kindo, go to “My Orders” then scroll through to check. Alternatively, you can check your email - Kindo always sends a confirmation of payment email whenever you make a purchase.
Go to “My Orders”, scroll to find the relevant purchase, then cancel. If you order lunches for multiple dates in advance, ensure the delivery date is the one you need to cancel, so that you don’t cancel the wrong day. Lunches can be ordered or cancelled up to 9:00am on the day of delivery.
You can claim back 33.33% of your school donations from Inland Revenue. Find more information about this here.
IRD approved donation receipts are automatically produced by Kindo when you pay your donation. When you pay a donation, you will receive an email of confirmation. A receipt will be attached to this email. Alternatively, you can find the receipt by going to the “My Orders” section of Kindo. Under transaction history, change the record type from the drop down menu to “Donation Receipts”.
If you have received a refund, you can withdraw this amount. Go to “My Account” (the area you would normally top up your credit), then choose the withdrawal option and follow instructions.
If you are closing your account and you have a credit balance, you have the option to spend the balance before you close the account or to donate it to school. Donation options are provided within the myKindo close account feature. If your child is moving to a school that uses Kindo, you do not need to withdraw or close your account - you can continue to use your existing account and funds at the new school. If you do need to close your account, go to “My Details”, then select “close account” next to the account holder name, and follow the instructions.
The email address you use in Kindo must be the same as the one we have listed for you in Hero (the two systems synchronize). To change your email address in Kindo, go to the “My details” section and update the appropriate fields.
