Fundraiser for those impacted by Cyclone Gabrielle

Throughout Friday we will be running a number of activities and events to raise money:

  • Wear your own clothes (non-uniform day) in exchange for a donation to the cyclone appeal
  • Bake sale at morning tea. Any left over baking will be sold at pick up time (3pm) at the front of school
  • Lunch time sausage sizzle. $2 per sausage; regular, vegetarian and gluten free options. All money going to the cyclone fund. 
  • Gold coin challenge - fill our 'Aroha' sign on the netball courts entirely with coins
  • Second hand uniform sale in reception from 3 - 4pm after school. All proceeds going to the cyclone fund.

Actions for parents and whānau to help with the fundraising:

  • Please donate a set of baking to our bake sale. All baking to be brought to the school office on Friday morning. Thanks in advance - baking from our school families is always absolutely delicious!
  • Order a sausage (or three) for your child/ren's lunch on Friday. Place your order through Kindo. Click on the 'Fundraising' section and choose sausage sizzle. *Orders close at 3pm on Thursday.
  • Donate on Friday and have your child/ren wear their own clothes (non-uniform) to school. You can send your child with cash donations and we will collect this in each hub, or you can donate online via Kindo -  select the "Fundraising" option from the home page in Kindo. A donation receipt will be emailed to you for all donations made via Kindo, once payment has been made.
  • Send gold coins with your child/ren so they can buy a delicious treat at the bake sale at morning tea and participate in the 'Fill our Aroha sign' challenge at lunch time. 

All funds raised throughout the day will go directly to the Cyclone Gabrielle Appeal. We are all aware of the utter devastation caused by the cyclone - lives, homes, livelihoods and belongings lost. We want to raise as much as possible to help with this appeal.
