Camp Week - this week

We have various EOTC (Education Outside The Classroom) activities this week for the whole school - including harakeke who actually had their camp at the beginning of the term.

To know when things are happening and what the tamariki need please refer to the specific Hub details:

Library Books and Readers

It's that time of the year that we are looking for the return of all library books and readers.

If you have any lying around please return them to the library by the end of Week 7 (24 November).

Churton Park Poetry Competition

Poems were submitted, local children's author and guest judge Elaine Bickell made her decisions, and last Friday the "Share & Celebrate" event was held at which the winners were announced.

If you want to know who, then take a few minutes to read the Poetry Competition article.

Congratulations to all the winners and a huge thank you to all of the tamariki for taking the time to craft their contributions and being prepared to submit them. Also a grateful thanks to Elaine for providing her time and expertise, and to the Churton Park Community Association for sponsoring the prizes.

Lunch orders for 2024 have now closed

Absence from school

  • Please advise the office of all absences. This can be done by:
  • For holidays during term time (5 days or more) parents are required to contact the principal by email: urs@amesbury.school.nz well in advance of the time they will be away

Uniform Check

Lost and Found

We have a lot of non-uniform clothing including 4 pairs of glasses, a selection of toys and a few un-named uniform items in the office lost property

Anything not claimed by the end of term will be donated to a charity store.
