Riprugby - U6 free
Johnsonville Junior Rugby is looking for players to join their U6 and U8/9 combined rip rugby teams which will be mostly played on a Friday nights.
For the U6 it would be great to get new kids to come and try it out and the subscription fee will be waived for this age group. I know trying a new sport for the first time can be an expensive commitment, so removing the cost for our littlest players may help make the decision easier.
As for the U8/9 Combined Riprugby, this is a new grade which has similar rules to rugby, but without the tackling. It is aimed at trying to increase rugby involvement for those that are put off by tackling.
The season is scheduled to start on the 20 June and finish on 31 August. The link to register to play is: https://www.sporty.co.nz/viewform/103332.
