EOTC / ‘Camp’ Week
All permission forms were due to have been completed by now. If you are one of the few who haven't done so, a big please from the teachers to do so.
Also, the last of the invoices for EOTC are due by the end of this week. Please use this link in Kindo to make payment.
All of our end of year trips and activities will happen in our ‘EOTC’ (Education Outside of the Classroom) Week - Mon 30 Nov - Fri 4 Dec. For further information about what your child/ren will be doing for the week and what you need to know and to do, please read the following:
Cultural Festival at Amesbury
You and your family are warmly invited to join us for our Amesbury School cultural festival. This will take place at Amesbury School on Friday 27 November from 5:00pm-7:00pm. We look forward to seeing you there!
To help us represent the various cultures at Amesbury School, we would like to invite you (students and adults) to share something from your culture. It could be a cultural performance, a demonstration, traditional clothing or kai (food) to share. If you are keen to provide any of the above, please email Regina (regina@amesbury.school.nz) by Sunday 15 November. This will help us to finalise the programme and ensure we are ready for the festival.
But wait, there's more: One our our teachers, Gar Kee, has agreed to have her long hair cut for charity, or more precisely for the Cancer Society. If you wish to find out more and make a donation please follow this link.

Online Safety Information Evening
Wednesday 25 November, 7pm – 8.30pm, Samuel Marsden Collegiate School, entry free. Enter the building at the Main Reception in the middle of the school.
You are invited to attend an information evening designed for adults with children in their lives to gain an understanding of some of the harms children face in the online world. Presented by Rob and Zareen Cope makers of the documentary Our Kids online: Porn, Predators and How to Keep Them Safe, this evening offers advice and resources to be able to approach these topics with your children at different ages.
