Learning Celebration - This Thursday
Just a reminder to book this date in your calendar so that you remember to come along and look at the learning our ākonga have been doing this term.
Students in Koru will be sharing their learning in Kōwhai, Karaka and Kākāriki in Koru Hub.Students from Harakeke and Pōhutukawa have been working together for some of their inquiry learning this term, and will be spread out across Kikorangi, Māwhero, the Hall, and the Library.
If you would like to take your child home after they have finished their learning celebration (for Koru at 2.15pm, for Harakeke/Pōhutukawa at 2.35pm), you are welcome to do so. You will need to sign them out with the teacher with the roll from each hub.
If your child is booked into Kelly Club, and you take them home after they finish their Learning Celebration, please make sure you inform Kelly Club prior to 3pm.
Amesbury Awesomeness - This Friday
This term's Amesbury Awards will be held on the last day of term Friday 30 June - commencing at 2.15pm.
Whānau are invited along to find out, along with the rest of us, who this term's recipients are.
For those unable to attend we will share the names of the recipients with the school community in a future article.
Regional Cross Country
All the best to Basti & Ruby K as they travel to Masterton on Tuesday to represent us at the Regional Cross Country. They have competed so hard to get to this far and we congratulate them on their success.
Co-curricular Lessons for Term 3
Those who wish to continue will no changes to their co-curricular lessons for Term 3, you need not do anything. You will receive an invoice in your school shop account at the beginning of the school holidays.
For those who wish to change, add or subtract lessons please email this info to John (communications@amesbury.school.nz), preferably before the invoices go out.

Kelly Club
This coming week at Kelly Club is themed 'Movin’ and Groovin’ which we are so excited for! The kids have been a massive help with planning the last week of term! We will be playing the ultimate game of musical statues and chairs, as well as playing a new game called ‘dance pies’ (the kids are in for a treat with this game!!). We will also be making party brownies and ending the term with a huge game of pass the parcel!

Just a reminder that Kelly Sports had its last Tuesday afternoon session for the term last week - so no Kelly Sports this week.
We have received notifications from a number of organisations of activities that they are running during the forthcoming holidays. These have been consolidated here and the list will be added to as further notifications are received.
