Friday 6 December at 8.30am is the start of our Term 4 Learning Celebration.
Pop in and see what the tamariki have been learning about space, our solar system and the universe.

Poetry Competition Prizegiving - Monday
The poems have been written, submitted and judged. All that remains is, for all those who are interested, to come along to the Pōhutukawa Hub at 5pm on Monday (2 December) to enjoy some of the entries being shared and to see who the winners are.
Carter Observatory Trips - This Week
This week our Pōhutukawa ākonga (students) will be visiting the Carter Observatory (to support their inquiry learning around our solar system and beyond), the Botanic Gardens and the Cable Car Museum.
The trips will be spread over three days, as follows:
Year 4 - Monday (2 December)
Brydon's and Charlotte's whānau groups - Tuesday (3 December)
Gar Kee's and Rachel's whānau groups - Wednesday (4 December)
Please carefully read through the notification to see what time they leave, where they will be going and what they will need to take.
Children's University Graduation
For a rundown on what the Children's University is all about and what 18 of our tamariki did to graduate please read here - as well as seeing the photos which showed off all of the pomp and ceremony involved.
Congratulations to the group and a big thank you to Kirat for all the work that she did throughout the year with these ākonga.
Kirat will soon be on the lookout for next year's lineup.
Touch Rugby - Play in Term 1 2025 - Register now
While it may seem a long way away, Rupert is trying to gets the teams as sorted as possible before the end of this school year because Registrations close at the end of the short first week of Term 1 next year with the competition starting soon after.
School Library Closing for the Year
The School Library will be closed by the end of Week 8, which means that Kirat would like you to start searching high & low at home for any library books and readers, and return them to school by that time.
