Community Notices - 2nd hand uniform for sale, events, kids term-based activities and community advertising...
Reminder - Student Information - Response required and due to Helen, office@amesbury.school.nz by Monday 20th March.
Travelling to school safely by bike - there are a number of roads in Churton Park where students can gather a fair bit of speed going downhill on their way to school. If students are confident travelling at a reasonable pace, and have been given appropriate instruction, they should be riding on the road. For those less confident on bikes (or on scooters), travelling on the footpath should be at a slow and careful speed, taking note of pedestrians and vehicles moving in and out of driveways.
Please pass this message on to your kids so they are reminded about travelling responsibly and safely. Thank you.
Lost and Found - the following have been handed in to the school office;
Bringing toys/trading cards to school - students are welcome to bring these to school (at their own risk), as long as they don't have them out during learning times. The school doesn't take responsibility for these sorts of items, so if it is something they would feel sad about losing, it's a better idea to leave it at home.
