'Pack the Bus' is an initiative that supports Wellington City Mission to help families to access food and toys for their tamariki in order to make this Christmas a happy one for all.
Pōhutukawa students will be overseeing this donation drive in the next few weeks. From this Monday (15 November) there will be a collection point in the office and on 1 December the bus will arrive to pick up all the generous donations for distribution prior to Christmas.

Cultural Programme 2022
As a school, we acknowledge the importance of exposing our students to the different cultures present in the world and especially to highlight the cultural diversity present in our community as a way to support them in a globalised world.
For this reason, we are looking into how we can implement a sustainable cultural programme for the coming year (2022). We acknowledge that you are the best source of knowledge about your culture, and we believe that your input is essential in ensuring that we cater and take into account the aspects of culture that are of most importance to you and our tamariki.
We would appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to answer some questions in this form. These questions are also being shared with your child/ren as their input is as valuable as yours.
