We are delighted that our Y1-3 cross country winners from Amesbury will finally get to compete in this event against 10 other visiting schools. This event was originally planned for Term 2 but had to be rescheduled due to adverse weather conditions.

Year 1 & 2 will run one complete lap (500m) of the track pictured below with Year 3 running two laps (1000m).
We ask for the children to wear their black sports top if they have one, suitable footwear and a warm jacket as they will be outside for a lengthy period. The students will be brought to the courts by a teacher but parents and caregivers are more than welcome to join us to support and watch. There will be designated standing areas for the spectators. We will be running a sausage sizzle alongside the event with runners able to eat after they have competed. Sausages must be purchased in advance through Kindo (orders close 4pm on Tue 23rd Aug). To order, select the "Fundraising" option from the home page in Kindo, then you'll see the sausage sizzle option. Please ensure you supply lunch as usual for your child(ren).
