Beach Education - Consent Form closes Friday
In Weeks 9 & 10 we will be holding our biennial Beach Education programme. Each year group has a different day of involvement.
Please read the Beach Education advice which includes:
Calling for additional adult helpers for Beach Education
We must meet the recommended ratio of 1 adult for every 5 children to allow for the safe delivery of the beach education programme. If we fail to meet this ratio, we face having to cancel the booking.
Please specify your availability on your child's consent form or email eilis@amesbury.school.nz with your name and your child's year level. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
Library Books and Readers
It's that time of the year that we are looking for the return of all library books and readers.
If you have any lying around please return them to the library by the end of Week 7 (24 November).
Lunch Orders: last days for this year
Uniform Check
Students have been doing a few activities in different hub spaces lately so there are a few misplaced/missing sunhats and fleeces. Please check if your child/ren have their own, and if they have accidentally picked up another student's named sunhat or fleece, please return it to the office.
Kelly Club
This coming week at Kelly Club is Bee Kind week!
We are going to practice kindness while learning about bees at the same time. We have so much fun planned: Bee-inspired baking, a quiz about bees, making honey playdough and so many games. We can't wait for all the fun to Beegin!
This Tuesday, Kelly Club is having a special before school care morning. We will be making and eating pancakes and, personally, I can't imagine a better way to start the day! Book before the spots fill up!"
