What's on?
Koru Hub - the year so far
In our series of teaching & learning in the hubs this term, we finish with Koru Hub.
Amaria has written a short but information packed article on what Koru Hub have been doing so far this year, with particular emphasis on the two inquiry modules.
Koru Hub parents are encouraged to read it, but other parents will find it very informative too.
Amesbury TV
The team have produced another episode of Amesbury TV for your viewing pleasure.
Disco - Rescheduled Date - Thursday 29 July
Due to the recent move to level 2 we, unfortunately, were unable to run our Disco this term. We have set a new date for the Disco which will now be held on Thursday 29th July. All of the details other than the date remain the same as originally planned.
If you have already purchased a ticket for your child(ren), we thank you, and if you are yet to do so, tickets will be available again on the school shop from next week.
Newlands Intermediate Trip - Thursday 8 July
After having our first visit postponed due to the move to Alert Level 2, we will now be taking our Year 6 students to Newlands Intermediate for a visit on Thursday 8th July. This will allow the students to take a look around the school and make some connections with the teachers and students at Newlands.
We will be leaving school at 8:45am so we ask that students are seated in the library by 8:30am with their bags and shoes. We will be returning to Amesbury at morning tea time, so it is fine to order pizza for lunch if desired.
If you have already decided that your child will be attending another school next year and do not want them to come to Newlands with us, please email Kalesha to let her know. kalesha@amesbury.school.nz. If we do not receive an email from you, we will assume that your child is attending.
