The rain held off a little longer than we were expecting and we were able to get through the full athletics programme for year 3 - 6 students. There was some great action both on the track and in the field as student competed in the quoit and vortex throw, long jump, high jump and sprints. The day finished with the 1000m race which was run with great gusto by the athletes in the pouring rain. The team for the Northern Zones has been chosen and will be announced shortly.
