Thankfully the weather held off for most of the day, and when the rain finally came, it was at the end of our last game followed by a bye - so we missed the worst of it!
Everyone had a great time with lots of teamwork, encouragement and goal scoring. We had some wins and we had some losses, and I’m really proud of the team for being able to organise their goalies and general positions each game, along with their care for peers and other players. We even had time for an impromptu parents vs students game during the lunch break!
A huge thank you to our awesome parents who supported us with transporting, being refs and side-line encouragement . Without our parents - days like this just wouldn't be possible.
