We met Paddington Bear today, and found out about all his travels from Peru to New Zealand. He has a very fancy passport and travel bag.
We helped Paddington with the next part of his journey by writing him letters suggesting some other countries he could visit and explore (and providing him a new pair of underpants).
We also wrote big lists of the important things he should take with him on a holiday.
Once we checked that he had everything, Christina played her violin for all of us, and then we farewelled Paddington when Gail came to collect him for his taxi ride to the airport!
Here are some of the fantastic letters that were written to Paddington...
Dear Paddington, can you go to Brazil to see what flavour ice cream they have.
Dear Paddington, can you go to China to see my grandma.
Dear Paddington, I want you to take photos of a pyramid in Egypt.
Dear Paddington, can you please go to India because you can see lots of temples.
Dear Paddington, I want you to go to Mongolia because I want you to see what type of flags there are.
Dear Paddington, I want you to go to Russia because I want to know what they eat for tea.
Dear Paddington, I want you to go to Australia because I want you to see the kangaroos.
Dear Paddington, I want you to go to Hawaii to see how hot it is on the beach.
Dear Paddington, I want you to buy lots of ice-creams.
