Our Term 2 Community Evening was lots of fun, with pizza, a circus acrobat, and informative, interesting presentations for the adults.
One of the big hits was our Eat and Greet game, where families enjoyed pizza whilst moving around Harakeke Hub talking with lots of different teachers, asking them questions along the way. Anyone with a completed game sheet could enter it into our prize box, with the hope of winning a family board game.
The big draw happened today, with Ryan pulling out one of the completed game sheets (Urs and Rachel checked that he kept his eyes shut). Rebecca and Victor's sheet was the winning entry pulled out. We are very pleased for them, and we hope they all have lots of fun playing 'Cluedo'!
Thanks to everyone who came along to the Community Evening; it was a good to have time to spend time talking with people. Huge thanks to the staff who came along to mix and mingle, and also stay to help supervise children, allowing parents to be free to attend a range of presentations. Big thanks also to our fabulous admin team who helped to set up the food and organisation, and also stayed to tidy up.
Warm regards,
The Amesbury team
