Netsafe is a non profit online safety charity. They work with people across Aotearoa New Zealand by providing tools, support and advice for managing online challenges.
Our tamariki grow up surrounded by digital devices. As they spend more time online, it is important that the adults around them know how to actively teach them to have a safe online experience.
On Tuesday 15th August Netsafe will run an online safety session for all kaiako (teachers) after school within our weekly staff meeting. They will then hold a parent and whānau online safety session from 5-6pm in the school hall. Both sessions will be provided free of charge. Here is the Netsafe flyer about this event.
