We are thrilled to share the exciting adventure our students embarked on at the “Wake Up NZ” program hosted by Capital E. The day was filled with creativity, inspiration, and confidence-building experiences that we can't wait to tell you about.
The “Wake Up NZ” program allowed our students to explore the world of television and media production. Each group worked with a pre-prepared script to create the “Wake Up NZ” breakfast show and learned to assume various roles such as directors, scriptwriters, and camera operators with enthusiasm and confidence.
Our ākonga shone as they collaborated in creating their own TV segments, putting into practice the role descriptions available here. Their ability to work as a team and take on their assigned roles with assurance was truly impressive.
We are immensely proud of our students for their active participation and for representing Amesbury School so well at this remarkable event. We also want to extend a massive thank you to our parents that came along and provided a helping hand on the trip. No doubt that we look forward to more exciting offsite adventures in the future.
