Over two days in Week 8 almost 40 keen Amesbury students enjoyed taking on competitors from across Wellington. Students from year zero all the way to year six were able to experience the exciting tournament.
Tuesday saw Amaria take the lead, while Brydon took over on Wednesday. On both days we were helped by incredibly dedicated parent helpers. Thank you to all those who helped. We couldn't do trips like this without you.
The students all had a wonderful time. Their days were packed with friendly games. Most were on court almost all day but in-between games they could be seen cheering on their team mates! It was genuinely a lovely day, where students were given the opportunity to have the agency to manage their own games. The end of the day saw a lot of tired but happy faces head for the bus, where one or two students may have had a nap before returning to Churton Park.
