First, we had our Easter Raffle. We had wonderful support from the community, with more than 600 tickets sold. A huge thank you must go to our wonderful parents who helped make up the baskets, as well as the fantastic donated items from our Year 5/6 whānau.
Congratulations to Rohan, Hunter R, Lika, Ella, Monty and Laylah who each won one of our amazing Easter Baskets.
Our second event we ran was our Term 1 Disco - where we had amazing dance moves, awesome music and lots of fun had by all.
We also say a massive thank you to our fabulous parents who helped make up the lolly bags ahead of time, or helped out on the night. A special shout out also goes to Gar Kee's whānau who helped set up the hall on Friday, and to the Pōhutukawa ākonga who helped tidy up at the end of the night.
As both of these events are fundraisers, we are delighted that we have fundraised over $1700 from our Term 1 Disco and $1200 from the Easter Raffle, for a total of $2900 fundraised for our Year 5/6 camp.
