We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Churton Park New World. We have liaised with Kelly and Aaron, the owner operators of New World in Churton Park Village, and now it is even easier for parents and whānau to help fundraise for the school.
Simply link your New World Club Card to the school and scan it as you shop; for every $100 you spend at Churton Park New World, $1 will be donated to Amesbury School. We will receive the fundraising every three months, and we will let our community know what the funding will go towards.
The first item on our wish list is a Kī-o-Rahi kit (traditional Māori sports game). The sets are expensive, and until now we have been using a borrowed set. However, having learned how to play the game with Kelly Sports last term, we would really like our own school set. So, with the fundraising donated through Churton Park New World, our first purchase will be a new Amesbury Kī-o-Rahi set.
Key details about how the partnership will work
We will update the community with fundraising totals each quarter, and share what the funding will go towards. Thanks for helping us with fundraising simply by shopping locally and scanning your Club Card.
Ngā mihi,
the Amesbury team
