By: Amaria Picard | Posted Thursday November 3, 2022

What & where:

We will take a ride up the Cable Car and then the group will spilt in half as we have two activities planned for the day (ngā ākonga will participate in both activities at some stage throughout the day).

Activity 1: Ngā ākonga will participate in a session at Space Place. We will be looking at: The World Around Us. The ‘World Around Us’ workshop covers how day and night happens, how the Earth goes around the Sun and how we get the phases of the Moon. We discuss what happens in the day/night time and what we can see at these different times. Part of this includes the Planetarium Show - Tilt.

Activity 2: Ngā ākonga will have a chance to explore the Botanical Gardens.
