We welcomed total of 17 new ākonga and one kaiako, Ciara, to Amesbury School on this occassion. It was with great excitement that they were formally welcomed into the Amesbury whānau.

Mihimihi were given by ākonga from each Hub. This was followed by a whaikorero from Amaria.

The new students and Ciara were then individually presented and took their place amongst the rest of the school as tangata whenua.

As usual, we then ended the mihi whakatau with kai.
