By Hannah Sadler | Posted: Friday August 12, 2022

This will be held at the Keith Spry Pool this Thursday 18th August (Week 4, Term 3).

Below is the Year 1-3 Swimming Carnival Information.

  • Swimming will start at 10:30 am and we aim to be finished by 12:30 pm. Lane Swimming races will take place in the main pool (25-metre) this year for students who have chosen to compete in the half-length and full-length races.

  • The fun swimming activities will take place in the teaching pool.

  • Spectators are welcome to come along on the day to watch the races. Please know that you are expected to adhere to the protocols at the orange level of the Covid Protection Framework. The pool’s policy is to be wearing face masks while inside the pool facilities.

All students will need to bring togs and two towels. It is strongly recommended to bring a swimming cap and goggles. Please label all of your child's belongings, including your child’s uniform. Lots of small healthy snacks are advisable in their lunch boxes as the students will use lots of energy throughout the day.

If you have any questions about this event you can email Hannah ([email protected]) or contact your child's whānau teacher.

Ngā mihi,

The Amesbury Team
