Senior Swimming Sports 2022

Below is the Year 4-6 Swimming Sports Information.

  • Races will start at 10:30am and we aim to be finished by 12:30pm. All races will take place in the main pool this year with those students competing in the half length races swimming one width of the pool at the shallow end.

  • Spectators are welcome to come along on the day to watch the races. Please know that you are expected to adhere to the protocols at the orange level of the Covid Protection Framework.

All students will need to bring togs, two towels, a swimming cap and goggles. We would appreciate it if you could also label your child's belongings. Lots of small healthy snacks are advisable in their lunches as the students will be using lots of energy throughout the day.

Teachers will use the results from swimming sports to form the team for the Northern Zone swimming competition that will take place on Friday 26 August. Only students participating in full length races will be able to qualify for the Northern Zone team.

If you have any questions about this event you can email Eilís (eilis@amesbury.school.nz) or contact your child's whānau teacher.

Ngā mihi,

The Amesbury Team
