Tēnā koutou,
I have previously mentioned that we are currently reviewing our school charter and completing consultation around our new school charter for 2022 - 2024. Please see our previous article for an explanation of what a school charter is.
We have completed some initial online consultation with parents and whānau, asking for feedback about things that are going well and possible future focus areas for us as a school. We have had a very low response to this survey, and we are now hoping to gather much more input around some more specific areas.
Our original plan was to complete this next phase of feedback and consultation face to face, but unfortunately our current alert level does not allow for this. As such, we will also conduct this feedback online. We have created a brief set of slides to show our current charter sections and goals. As you read through these slides, we ask you to complete this Google Form to share your feedback on the different sections of our charter.
We have tried to keep the form as brief and simple as possible, whilst also allowing plenty of opportunity to feed back your thoughts. The form may look quite long to begin with, but a number of the questions are simple rating scales, with optional questions and spaces to give further thoughts if you would like to do so. There are a number of questions you can choose to complete, if you wish, but you can also leave them blank if you do not have feedback to give. We would like as many families as possible to fill this feedback survey in, as this will give us a broad picture of what our community wants. There is an option to add your name to your feedback, but you can choose to leave this blank if you would prefer to do so. Adding your name means I can follow up with you if having further explanation of your answer would be helpful, or if you signal an issue I would like to try and help or follow up with. However, if you prefer not do this, we understand.
Thank you in advance for your support and input with this.
Ngā mihi nui,
Urs Cunningham
