A reminder of key information:

It is open to students of all ages, and they may choose to talk about any topic that is of interest to them. Speech time limits:

• Year 0-1 - between 30 seconds to 1 minute
• Year 2 - between 1 minute and 2 minutes
• Year 3-4 - between 1min30sec and 2min30sec
• Year 5-6 - between 2min30sec and 3min30sec

Heats will take place in Week 3, Term 4 at lunchtime (4th + 5th November). These will be judged by hub teachers, and each age group (Y0-Y1, Y2, Y3-4, and Y5-6) will send their three top students to the final, which will take place in our school hall on 19th November. At the final, speeches will be judged by guest judges who will be looking for speeches with excellent structure, strong voices, and audience interaction.
