It was raining but that didn't stop the group having a great day out. All of our Amesbury competitors finished the course, some in very speedy times and some covered in mud from head to toe as you can see in the photos.
A huge thanks for our fantastic parent support crew who brought a tent to keep our gear dry, made gazebos, and tarps suddenly appeared after a phone call to friends and whānau, and who provided excellent supervision and great support. There were extra towels, hot drinks, warm food and help to get students through the showers and changed so that they were dry and warm in record time. We really appreciate your support at the event and for the transport of the students to Camp Wainui.
We are looking forward to next year, this event was a great day and a wonderful opportunity for students to challenge themselves while getting pretty dirty and soaking wet!
