Keyboard Lessons Cancelled this week

Apologies, but owing to Tas's unavailability due to personal circumstances, co-curricular keyboard lessons will not be held this week - Wednesday & Friday.

Amesbury's Got Talent

Amesbury's Got Talent heats will be running during lunchtimes in weeks 5 & 6 (17-28 August), with the finals the following week.

Made to order products with your child's artwork

Students have been very busy creating their own artwork that can be printed onto calendars, cards, diaries, mouse mats and sketch pads (spiral bound A5 notebook with blank pages) that are available for you to buy.

On Friday (31 July), your child/ren will have brought home a named order code form that will have a unique code that is linked to their art. Please use this to order online via the KidsArtWorks website. (Orders cannot be made via the school by cash or on the school account).

Final orders close at 10am on Monday 17th August and, sorry, no late orders can be accepted.

Purchased items will be delivered to school mid September and will be given to students to bring home.

Scholastic Books Club

Don't forget that Term 3, 2020 of Scholastic's Book Club is now available for online ordering.

Please do the ordering by visiting the website at mybookclub.scholastic.co.nz - no need to fill in the paper order form and please do not return anything to school. Everything can be done online.

Ordering will be open until Monday 31st August 2020 and books will be sent to school.

Harakeke Inquiry

Can you help out with materials for Harakeke's Inquiry this term? They require newspapers and bubble wrap.

If you have any - whether or not your child/ren are in Harakeke - can you please drop it off in the hub (preferably) or into the office.

A big thank-you in anticipation.

Nits and Head Lice Checks

There are signs that these pests are back again.

Please read through this article and take the appropriate steps. Thanks.

Koru Hub Swimming Lost Property

Koru Hub swimming only started last week and already they have a number of items of clothing in their 'lost property' pile. If you recognise it and, while it is all unnamed, it will be kept in Koru Hub for you to pick up.

Can I also take the opportunity to strongly encourage you to name all of your child/ren's clothing and things not only when they take them to swimming but whenever they bring anything to school?

Uniform

  • Labelling: with ASB trips and changing room chaos at swimming this term it's a good time to get everything named (even goggles, togs and swim caps!). We have fabric label pens available to purchase on Kindo, or Stuck on You have a great selection of iron on and sticker labels

  • Reminder: Jeans are not permitted as part of the school uniform. Lower halves must be black (not blue) and long sleeve tops worn under the polo must also be plain black
